Man charged with multiple vehicle theft offences

A man has been charged over multiple vehicle theft offences which took place across Cannock and Lichfield recently.
A number of cars were stolen between September 2021 and December 2022 in Great Wyrley and Hammerwich.
Bobby McCarthur, aged 22, of Bloxwich, Walsall, has since been charged with four counts of vehicle theft and one count of attempted vehicle theft.
He appeared before Wolverhampton Magistrates Court today (Wednesday 18 January).
