A 69-year-old man has been released on conditional police bail as we continue to investigate an incident in Cheadle at the weekend.
We went to High Street at 4.20pm on Sunday 17 December following reports of a man with a firearm. He was wearing a long black coat and a black cap at the time.
A short time later, we arrested a man, from Cheadle, on suspicion of possessing a firearm with intent to cause fear/violence. Officers seized a BB gun.
