We have arrested two men following a stop-and-search in Stoke-on-Trent.
Officers stopped a grey Seat Ibiza yesterday (Wednesday 13 December) just after 3.15pm on Festival Heights Retail Park, Etruria. They found cannabis, cash and a mobile phone inside the vehicle.
Following CCTV enquiries, a bag containing digital scales and plastic snap bags was recovered nearby. A further search by officers uncovered a large quantity of cannabis and white powder.
A 19-year-old man, from Stoke-on-Trent, was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a class B drug.
A second man, also 19 and from Stoke-on-Trent, was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a class B drug and driving a vehicle whilst under the influence of a controlled drug.
Both men have been released on bail while enquiries continue.
