Two men have been arrested following a fire inside a detached garage in Stoke-on-Trent.
Just before 2.50am yesterday morning (21 December), we received a report of a fire on Leek Road in Hanley. Officers went to the scene with our colleagues from Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service who extinguished it.
A 41-year-old man, of no-fixed-address, was arrested on suspicion of arson.
Another man, aged 31, from Newcastle-under-Lyme, was arrested on suspicion of arson and criminal damage.
Both have since been released on conditional police bail while enquiries continue.
