We have secured a closure order at a property in Burton-on-Trent following persistent reports of anti-social behaviour.
On 14 December, local officers secured the three-month closure order at an address on Hazelwood Road after working closely with residents to tackle the issues which matter the most to them. It means that people can’t enter the property throughout the period, other than the housing association, emergency service workers and professionals.
PC Martin Banton, from the East Staffordshire local policing team, said: “We are committed to acting on the priorities of our communities and taking action against those persistently engaging in anti-social behaviour and causing concern across Staffordshire.
“This will be policed rigidly and anybody not adhering to the order will be dealt with in accordance with the powers that this order gives.”
If you have been affected by anti-social behaviour in your area, contact Staffordshire Police through our Live Chat on our website, or call 101.
To report anonymously, call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or call 999 in an emergency.
