Collision investigators are appealing for information after a man sadly died following a collision in Stoke-on-Trent over the weekend.
It happened on Weston Road at about 11.45pm on Saturday (16 December) near to Weston Coyney lights in the direction of Cellarhead. A grey Honda Civic and a pedestrian were involved.
We went to the scene with paramedics from West Midlands Ambulance Service.
Sadly, the pedestrian, a man in his 30s, was pronounced dead a short time later. His family are being supported by specialist officers at this difficult time.
The driver of the Honda stayed at the scene and has been helping officers with their enquiries.
We’re keen to speak to anyone who saw the collision or those with any footage of the area at the time. Get in touch by calling 101, quoting incident 863 of 16 December, or message us using Live Chat on our website.
