Two men have been charged after we found crack cocaine and heroin in Tamworth.
Leo Connelly, 29, from Great Barr, Birmingham, and Rushan Dennis, of no-fixed-address, appeared at North Staffordshire Justice Centre on Thursday (3 August) charged with possession with intent to supply heroin, crack cocaine and possession of criminal property.
Both men have been remanded in custody and due to appear at Stafford Crown Court on 1 September.
It comes after we found the drugs following a search in Stoneydelph on Tuesday (1 August).
We've launched a major crackdown on serious and organised crime in a new operation to target offenders and protect those who are most vulnerable – called Operation Target.
Officers from the Regional Organised Crime Unit (ROCU), which is made up of officers from Staffordshire, West Midlands, Warwickshire and West Mercia set about the crackdown on serious organised crime earlier this year.
