Two men have been arrested after a gilet and handbags, worth £700, were stolen from a store in Stoke-on-Trent.
We were called to Market Square in Hanley last night (28 August) after a number of windows were smashed at the shop.
We sent a dog unit to the scene who quickly found two men in the area, as well as eight handbags, a gilet and a small amount of heroin and cannabis.
A 37-year-old man, of no-fixed-address, was arrested on suspicion of burglary with intent to steal.
A 29-year-old man, from Stoke-on-Trent, was arrested on suspicion of burglary with intent to steal and possessing cannabis and heroin.
Both remain in custody while enquiries continue.
