Two suspected drug dealers have been arrested after we found cocaine, heroin and more than £600 in cash in Tamworth.
At 12.35pm yesterday (31 July), proactive officers stopped a grey Audi on Ribblesdale, Stoneydelph.
We searched the driver and found a phone, £640 and a wrap of heroin. We then searched the passenger and found scales and a phone.
A 33-year-old man, from Tamworth, was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply heroin, cocaine and being concerned in the supply of a class A drug.
A 31-year-old woman, from Tamworth, was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply heroin and cocaine, being concerned in the supply of a class A drug and drug driving.
Whilst in custody, a further amount of class A drugs was found on the woman.
Both remain in custody while enquiries continue.
