Man charged following cannabis grow found

A man has been charged after we found a cannabis grow in Leek.
Qimi Metaj, 33, of no fixed address, appeared at North Staffordshire Justice Centre yesterday (21 August) charged with producing cannabis and being concerned in the production of cannabis.
He has been remanded in custody.
It comes after we attended an address in Leek on Friday (18 August) and found a cannabis grow inside.
Officers across the region are continuing to proactively target drug cultivation as part of our Operation Levidrome commitment.
