A man has been arrested after officers seized cannabis and cash in a stop-and-search in Uttoxeter.
We stopped a man at 12.40pm on Tuesday (8 August) on Sorrel Close, Uttoxeter.
A small amount of cannabis, cash and two mobile phones were seized by officers.
We are also carried out a search of a property in Uttoxeter where we seized further cannabis, amphetamine, ecstasy pills cash and scales.
A 37-year-old man, from Uttoxeter, was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply cannabis and class A drugs.
He has since released on bail pending further enquiries.
We've launched a major crackdown on serious and organised crime in a new operation to target offenders and protect those who are most vulnerable – called Operation Target.
Officers from the Regional Organised Crime Unit (ROCU), which is made up of officers from Staffordshire, West Midlands, Warwickshire and West Mercia set about the crackdown on serious organised crime earlier this year.
