We found a quantity of cash, nine wraps of heroin and a mobile phone inside.
During the search, three officers were assaulted by a man. They did not require medical treatment and carried on with their duties.
A 33-year-old woman, from Tamworth, was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of heroin.
A 26-year-old man, from Tamworth was arrested on suspicion of assault of an emergency worker and possession with intent to supply heroin.
Both remain in custody while enquiries continue.
The activity follows our ongoing commitment to tackling serious and organised crime and protecting those who are at risk of exploitation through criminals – called Operation Target.
