We are appealing for information after a van was stolen overnight in Burntwood.
Between 10pm on Tuesday 25 July and 6.10am the following morning (Wednesday 26 July), a white Ford Transit was stolen without keys whilst parked on Summerfield Road.
We spoke with residents and reviewed all the available CCTV and dashcam footage from the area at the time.
Then, on Friday (28 July), we found the van in Bloxwich. The offenders had changed the plates on the van and left it abandoned in the area.
At this stage, we believe three men may have been involved in the theft. We think it may have been stolen around 10pm and the plates were changed before the offenders managed to get inside and drive away.
Anyone with any information or those who may have seen the van driving suspiciously in the area are asked to get in touch with us.
Call us on 101, quoting incident 90 of 26 July, or message us using Live Chat on our website – www.staffordshire.police.uk
