A man has been charged with business burglary offences following a break-in at a garage in Stafford.
We were alerted to a burglar alarm going off at a premises on Doxey Road, shortly before 3am, on Tuesday (25 October).
Officers attended and arrested a man a short time later.
Kevin Palin, 41, of Third Avenue, Kidsgrove, has since been charged with attempted theft of a motor vehicle, burglary other than dwelling with intent to steal and theft of a motor vehicle.
He remains in police custody.
He is due to appear before magistrates North Staffordshire Justice Centre later today (Wednesday 26 October).
