The family of a 32-year-old woman who died following a collision in Stretton have paid tribute to their ‘beautiful, caring lady who any mother would be proud to call their daughter’.
Katie Westwood was a passenger in a car which was involved in a collision in the early hours of Saturday (8 October).
Sadly, despite the best efforts of paramedics, Katie, from Burton-on-Trent, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Her family have released a statement:
“Katie is a beautiful, caring young lady who any mother would be proud to call their daughter.
“She was so bubbly with a huge sense of humour and a laugh that made everyone smile. I’m exceptionally lucky to have called her mine.
“She was a devoted mother to her son, who she loved unconditionally. He will always be her world.
“Katie was a kind, considerate and loving sister, auntie and friend who will be so very sadly missed.
“Forever in our thoughts, my girl eternally loved by us all.”
