Officers are appealing for witnesses following robberies in Stoke-on-Trent.
At around 4pm on Saturday (1 October) two men on push bikes approached a 38-year-old man as he walked near to the Dudson Centre, on Hope Street, in Hanley.
They made demands for his mobile phone and ID, before assaulting him, causing a head injury which required hospital treatment.
A short time later, police received a report of a robbery outside of Wynsors World of Shoes on Marsh Street.
At approximately 6pm, a teenager was approached by two men on black mountain bikes, who assaulted him and made off with cash and a mobile phone.
Enquiries are on-going and any witnesses, or anyone with information or relevant dashcam footage, is asked to message Staffordshire Police on Facebook or Twitter or call 101 quoting incident number 687 of 1 October.
