We are appealing for witnesses and information after a motorcyclist sustained serious injuries in a collision in East Staffordshire recently.
We were called shortly after 5.15pm on Sunday 16 October following reports of a collision on Fauld Lane near Tutbury in Burton-upon-Trent.
Officers attended along with colleagues from West Midlands Ambulance Service.
Upon arrival, a motorcyclist, a man in his 50s, was found with serious injuries.
He was taken to hospital by ambulance where he remains in a serious but stable condition.
We are particularly keen to speak to the driver of a Nissan Qashqui which was seen in the area at the time of the collision, as well as a second motorcyclist who is understood to have been travelling with the injured motorcyclist prior to the collision.
Anyone with any information or relevant CCTV or dashcam footage is asked to contact the Staffordshire and West Midlands Serious Collision Investigation Unit at [email protected] or message us on Facebook, Twitter, or 101 quoting incident number 555 of 16 October.
