A woman has been charged with drugs offences following a stop-and-search in Burton-on-Trent.
We stopped a woman on High Street, Burton, at 1.40pm on Friday (18 November).
Following a search, a total of 33 wraps of class A drugs and cash were seized.
Danesha Smith, 19, of Hawkins Lane, Burton-on-Trent, was arrested and has since been charged with two counts of possession with intent supply class A drugs.
She has been remanded in custody ahead of a plea hearing due at Stafford Crown Court on 23 December.
