We have arrested two men following a stop-and-search in Consall.
Officers stopped a blue Renault Clio at 1.25am on Wednesday (9 November) on Consall Lane.
Shortly after, officers located a man.
We seized a knife, suspected class B drugs and a mobile phone.
Following further inquiries, another man was stopped by officers.
A search was conducted by officers of an address in Forsbrook, near Cheadle, where a knife, further suspected class B drugs, cash, mobile phones, a electronic tablet and a rental vehicle were seized.
A 42-year-old man, from Forsbrook, was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class B drugs.
A 20-year-old man, from Forsbrook, was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class B drugs and possessing an offensive weapon in a private place.
Both men have been released under investigation.
Inquiries are ongoing.
