A man has been arrested after we discovered more than 200 cannabis plants, worth around £114,500, at an address in Burton-on-Trent yesterday.
We were called to an address off Anglesey Road just after 7.30pm on Monday (28 November) following reports of suspicious activity.
On arrival, we found the cannabis grow spanned three rooms in the property, with a total of 229 plants recovered.
We seized the plants, informed the electricity supplier and secured the property.
An 18-year-old man, from Burton-on-Trent, was arrested on suspicion of producing class B drugs.
He remains in police custody while inquiries continue.
