Two men and a 17-year-old boy have been charged with murder following the death of a man in Burton last year.
Oliver Freckleton, aged 19, from Burton, died as a result of a stab wound in Stretton on Saturday 11 December 2021.
18-year-old Isiah Hall and Adam Viola, aged 19, both from Derbyshire, and a 17-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, were each charged with murder earlier today (Tuesday 31 May).
They each remain in custody ahead of appearing before magistrates at North Staffordshire Justice Centre tomorrow (Wednesday 1 June).
These latest charges bring the total number of individuals charged in connection with the case to nine.
Officers would like to urge individuals not to speculate over the case on social media as you may prejudice legal proceedings.
