A man has been arrested after another man was stabbed in Shelton.
Police were called at 10.25pm last night (Tuesday 17 May) to reports that a man had been stabbed at a property on Lomas Street.
The injured man was taken to the Royal Stoke University Hospital by ambulance. He is in a serious but stable condition.
A 41-year-old man, from Newcastle, was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. He remains in custody.
