Officers from the Staffordshire and West Midlands Serious Collision investigation Unit are appealing for witnesses following a serious road traffic collision in Meir Heath.
The incident occurred at around midnight on Sunday 22nd May 2022 on Grindley Lane, Meir Heath and a 22 year old man from the Blythe Bridge area was found at the roadside with serious head injuries after it is believed that he has become dismounted from his electric assisted bike. It is not suspected that any other vehicles were involved at this stage.
The man was taken to hospital where he is currently in a critical but stable condition. The man’s family are being supported by specially trained officers at this time.
Officers are keen to hear from anyone that may have witnessed the incident or may have been in the area prior to the collision. Anyone who may have any relevant dash cam footage are also requested to contact Staffordshire Police on 101 quoting incident 001 of 22/05/2022 or e-mail the Collision Investigation unit on [email protected]
