Officers are appealing for information after a woman was assaulted during a robbery in Stoke-on-Trent.
Police and paramedics attended a residential property on Waterloo Road, Burslem, at around 7.35am yesterday (Thursday 26 May).
A woman, in her 30s, was found with head, facial and hand injuries.
She reported being assaulted by a group of six masked offenders, wearing dark clothing, carrying weapons. Two of the offenders were women.
A quantity of cash, a laptop, a driving licence and car keys and other items were reported stolen.
The victim was taken to hospital by ambulance for treatment. Her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
Officers are urging anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area at the time of the assault, or who may have relevant CCTV or dashcam footage to get in touch.
