Officers are continuing to appeal for information and witnesses after a man sustained life-threatening injuries in an assault in Hanley last year.
Police were called at 4.08am on Sunday 28 November 2021 to Trinity Street, near to junction with Stafford Street, following reports of violence.
Officers attended along with West Midlands Ambulance Service.
A 28-year-old man was found unconscious at the scene.
He was conveyed to hospital by the ambulance service.
The victim sustained significant head injuries and currently remains in a critical condition in hospital.
We are appealing for anyone who recognises any of these men (see below) to get in touch.
Officers would like to speak to them as they may be potential witnesses to the assault.
