A man has been arrested for driving and drug offences following a stop-and-search in Burton.
Officers stopped a grey Ford Kuga on Derby Street, Burton, at around 2pm yesterday (Wednesday 30 March).
The driver of the Kuga provided a positive drug swipe for cannabis and upon being searched was found to be in possession of cash and two mobile phones.
Both cash and the mobile phones were seized by officers.
A 41-year-old man, from Burton, was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs and driving a motor vehicle with a proportion of a specified controlled drug above the specified limit.
He has since been released under investigation while inquiries continue.
