Three men have been arrested for drug offences following a stop-and-search of a car on one of Stoke-on-Trent’s major roads.
Officers executed a stop-and-search on a black Audi A3 at around 2.30am this morning (Wednesday 1 June) on the A34 in Trent Vale.
A total of £2,000 in cash and multiple mobile phones were seized.
Following a review of the seized devices, a 26-year-old man and an 18-year-old man, both from Stoke-on-Trent, was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs.
A 27-year-old man, from Stoke on Trent, was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs and being in possession of class A and B drugs – cocaine and cannabis.
All three men remain in police custody while inquiries continue.
