A man has been charged after an aggravated burglary in Newcastle-under-Lyme last month.
Officers attended an address off Blackfriars Road at around 3.40pm on Wednesday (18 May).
A man reported having his wallet and house keys stolen after an offender entered the address.
The victim was left shaken but unhurt.
Following inquiries, a man was located in Birmingham on 31 May.
A 41-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary, robbery, failing to provide a sample for a drugs test and threatening a person with a blade/sharply pointed article in a public place.
Dean Luke Jones, of no-fixed address, has since been charged with the offences.
He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear before court at North Staffordshire Justice Centre today (Thursday 9 June).
