A man has been arrested after an aggravated burglary in Newcastle-under-Lyme last month.
Officers attended an address off Blackfriars Road at around 3.40pm on Wednesday (18 May).
A man reported having his wallet and house keys stolen after an offender entered the address and cut the phone lines.
The victim was left shaken but unhurt.
A 41-year-old man, of no-fixed address, has since been arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary, robbery and failing to provide a sample for a drugs test.
He remains in police custody while inquiries continue.
