Lichfield Local Policing Team (LPT) has welcomed a new Commander to its ranks.
Chief Inspector and Lichfield Commander Paul Cooke, has over 20 years’ experience within Staffordshire Police and has worked in a number of different departments including: firearms, local policing and safeguarding.
Speaking of his new role, Paul said: “Every day I learn something new and face a new challenge in policing which can only be addressed through strong partnership and communities working together.
“I’m really keen to get started on this exciting new chapter of my career in Lichfield, working alongside Inspector Karen Green and police colleagues, the local authority and partners to deliver on the priorities for the communities of Lichfield.
“I’ve experienced and learned so much and loved being a police officer. This is an exciting new challenge I’m going to relish.”
