Two men have been charged with a number of drug and driving offences following a stop-and-search in Tamworth.
Officers stopped a grey BMW at 1pm on Wednesday (13 July) on Silver Link Road.
A quantity of class A and B drugs, two mobiles phones and cash were seized.
Paul Lee, aged 39, of Hawskworth, has since been charged with being in possession of class A drugs.
Benjamin Tyrone Griffiths, aged 25, of Eringden, has been charged with being in possession of class B drugs, driving a motor vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a license, using a motor vehicle on a road/public place without insurance and failing to provide a specimen for analysis.
Both men have been granted unconditional bail and are due to appear before Cannock Magistrates Court on 29 July.
