Officers are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision in Stoke-on-Trent.
Shortly after 11pm yesterday (Thursday 21 July), police were called to the A50 eastbound in Longton, following reports that multiple vehicles had collided with a pedestrian.
Sadly, despite the best efforts of medical staff, the man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
A file will shortly be prepared for HM Coroner.
A referral has been made to the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC).
Police would like to speak to any witnesses travelling on the A50 or the Foley Road interchange or those who may have CCTV or dashcam footage leading up to the incident.
