Officers are appealing for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision which took place on the A500 yesterday (Sunday 3 July).
Police were called at around 4pm to the A500 southbound following reports of a Suzuki motorbike, travelling towards Talke, in collision with road furniture.
Sadly, the lone motorcyclist, a man in his 60s, was pronounced dead by paramedics a short time later.
His next of kin has been informed and are being supported by specially-trained officers at this difficult time.
Officers from Staffordshire and West Midlands serious collision unit are keen to speak to anyone who saw what happened or who may have relevant dashcam footage.
