Detectives are investigating after a man was stabbed in Cannock.
Police were called just before 7.30pm on Saturday (23 July) to reports of a 20-year-old man with serious injuries to his legs.
He had been approached by a group of around five men in Mill Green Nature Reserve sometime between 6.30pm and 7.20pm. Following a confrontation, he was stabbed several times.
The victim made it to Eastern Way, where he was helped by members of the public before being taken to hospital. He is currently in a stable condition.
Enquiries are on-going and we are keen to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time, witnessed the incident or noticed a group acting suspiciously.
