Officers are appealing for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision in Fenton.
Police were called just before 4.25am on Sunday (10 July) to King Street, following reports of a collision involving a white Aprilia motorbike.
Sadly, the lone motorcyclist, a 33-year-old man, from Stoke-on-Trent, was pronounced dead by paramedics a short time later.
His next of kin have been informed and they are being supported by specially-trained officers.
Officers from Staffordshire and West Midlands serious collision unit are keen to speak to anyone who saw what happened or who may have relevant dashcam footage.
The incident has been referred to the Independent Office of Police Conduct following previous police contact not associated with the collision.
