Police are appealing for information after £11,000 was stolen from a safe at a business in East Staffordshire.
Officers were called to the premises on Abbotts Bromley Road, Burton-on-Trent, at 1.20pm on Monday (11 July).
A member of staff reported a safe had been accessed and its contents had been stolen.
Officers believe the theft took place at around 2.30am the same day.
Following a review of CCTV footage at the scene, the suspect is described as a man wearing a face covering, a hooded jacket and gloves.
Officers are currently carrying out inquiries locally and urge anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area in the early hours of Monday morning to get in touch.
Giles Parsons, Business Crime Lead at Staffordshire Police, said: "We understand the impact someone breaking into your business can have an impact on the business and that is why we are committed to pursuing every opportunity to catch and convict those responsible.
"I would urge people to continue to maintain and maximise their security in order to reduce the likelihood of them being a victim of this type of crime.”
