A man has been charged following reports of a sexual assault in Hanley.
Elek Horvath, 22, of Bucknall New Road, Stoke-on-Trent, has been charged with rape.
It comes after police were called at around 6.40am on Sunday (16 January) following reports of a woman who had been raped on Hope Street, Hanley.
Horvath has been remanded and is due to appear before magistrates at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre on Monday (17 January).
