Four boys have been arrested after failing to stop for officers in Bentilee this morning (Wednesday 12 January).
At 4am, officers attempted to pull-over a vehicle acting suspiciously on Dividy Road - to which the offenders failed to stop.
Police continued to follow the vehicle until four occupants departed and fled on foot.
An area search was conducted whereby all four suspects were located and detained.
A 13-year-old, two 15-year-olds and a 17-year-old - all from Stoke-on-Trent - were arrested on suspicion of taking a motor vehicle without the owners consent. They remain in custody.
