Detectives are investigating following criminal damage at two restaurants in Audley.
Police were called at 2.10am to Church Street on Tuesday 28 December to reports that a white Mercedes van had reversed at speed into the front of the Royal Balti causing significant damage. The driver had left leaving the van at the scene.
On Monday 3 January, police were called at 2.35am to reports that a white Mercedes van had reversed into the Royal Balti and the take-away, again causing significant damage. The driver left the scene and got into another vehicle which headed towards the church in Audley. A man received minor injuries during the incident.
Detective Sergeant Dave Jackson, of CID North, said: “We are continuing enquiries with assistance from the local parish council and are reviewing CCTV.
"Anyone with any information should message Staffordshire Police on Facebook or Twitter quoting incident number 53 of 3 January, call 101 or alternatively contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
