Police are appealing for information following a three vehicle collision in Cannock, on Tuesday (11 January).
At 8pm, officers received reports that a van had collided with two stationary cars whilst travelling down Littleworth Road - leaving one man trapped inside of the moving vehicle.
Crews from Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service and paramedics attended the incident alongside police.
A man, in his 60s, was extracted from the vehicle by firefighters and placed in the care of ambulance crews.
He was taken to hospital a short time after. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
A breath test was later conducted - whereby the man gave a reading above the legal alcohol limit.
He was arrested on suspicion of driving a motor vehicle whilst over the legal limit.
