Officers are appealing for information after a robbery took place at a Co-op store in Wombourne.
Police were called shortly after 6pm on 2 January 2022 to the store on Giggetty Lane.
Witnesses reported that three offenders, with weapons including machetes and tools, approached the cashier and made threats before taking about £1,000 along with a quantity of cigarettes.
Two members of the public intervened to attempt to prevent the offenders from leaving the scene.
Two men, in their 30s, sustained minor injuries as a result.
The offenders exited the store and departed the scene, prior to officers’ arrival, in a white Honda Civic.
Officers are currently reviewing CCTV footage of the area at the time of the incident and ask anyone who may have dashcam footage or information relating to the robbery to get in touch.
