Officers from the Stoke South Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) are visiting different areas this week to engage with the local community.
The mobile police vehicle has attended Pickford Place in Meir this afternoon, where Police Community Support Officers (PCSO) have been answering questions and giving crime prevention advice to locals in the area.
Each day, the vehicle will visit another area:
• Tuesday 8 February - Bentilee Neigbourhood Centre, Dawlish Drive - 11am to 3pm
• Wednesday 9 February - Stoke Town Centre - 10am to 3pm
• Thursday 10 February - Blurton, Finstock Avenue - 10am to 3pm
• Friday 11 February - Longton Town Centre - 10am to 3pm
• Saturday 12 February - Queens Park - 12:30pm to 16:30pm
Inspector Scott McGrath, of Staffordshire Police, said: “These engagement sessions are an excellent way in which we can better understand the needs and queries of our communities.
“Our officers are keen to support anyone who has any questions or concerns and we encourage the local community to engage with these events”.
