Detectives are continuing to appeal for information following reports a grey Mercedes was stolen on Tuesday (8 February).
Officers were called to an address on Trentham Road, Longton, at around 8.55am on Tuesday (8 February) following reports of a robbery.
Officers attended and the victim described how she was threatened at knifepoint by a man, whilst the Mercedes GLA 220 was running and the keys were in the car.
The car has since been recovered.
Detective Inspector Andrew Curran of Staffordshire Police, said: “We are appealing for anyone who saw what happened or who may have CCTV or dashcam footage of the area at the time to get in touch.
“We are keen to get the public’s help to identify the offender.”
