Police are appealing for information following reports a grey Mercedes was stolen this morning (8 February).
Officers were called to an address on Trentham Road, Longton, at around 8.55am on Tuesday (8 February) following reports of a robbery.
Officers attended and the victim described how she was threatened at knifepoint by a male offender, whilst the Mercedes GLA 220 was running and the keys were in the car.
The man then drove off in the Mercedes.
The victim was left shaken following the incident.
The victim did not receive any injuries.
The suspect is described as a man, with a short black beard and was seen wearing a dark hoodie.
Officers are currently reviewing CCTV and conducting door-to-door inquiries.
