We’ve arrested two men after a stolen car was found in Stoke-on-Trent this morning (Friday 30 December).
On Boxing Day (Monday 26 December), a red Mazda was stolen from Dawlish Drive. It had been left unattended on the street and was driven away with the keys inside.
Then, at 1.57am this morning (Friday 30 December), we spotted the car on Chelmsford Drive and seized it for forensic testing.
A 34-year-old man, of no-fixed-address, was arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle and possession of a class B drug.
Another man, aged 33, from Stoke-on-Trent, was also arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle and possession of a class B drug.
They have both since been released under investigation while inquiries continue.
