Appeal for information following television stolen from premises

We are appealing for information after a television was stolen from Tesco in Kidsgrove.

We were called to the supermarket on Liverpool Road just after 2pm on Wednesday (7 December) following reports of a theft.

A witness reported seeing a man leave the premises at 1.45pm on Wednesday (7 December) 32-inch TV which had not been paid for.

The offender was last seen heading in the direction of Kidsgrove town centre on foot with the stolen TV.

Inquiries are ongoing and we are currently reviewing CCTV of the area at the time of the incident.
