Officers are appealing for information after a series of criminal damage incidents were reported in Stoke-on-Trent.
Police were first called to Selwyn Street in Stoke at 8.40am this morning (8 August) after spray paint was found on exterior walls and vehicles.
Around 20 homes and vehicles along the residential street have been vandalised using red and blue paint.
Local neighbourhood officer, PC Richard Barnhouse, said: “This mindless act of criminal damage has caused the owners great inconvenience and expense.
“We are appealing to anyone who may have information, relevant CCTV footage, or saw someone acting suspiciously in the area last night to get in touch.”
Anyone with information can contact Staffordshire Police on Facebook, Twitter, or call 101, quoting incident number 158 of 8 August.
Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
