A man and a 17-year-old boy have been arrested for drug and firearms offences following a stop-and-search in Burton-on-Trent.
Officers carried out a stop-and-search off Anglesey Road on Tuesday (2 August) just after 3.20pm.
A subsequent search of a property, in Burton-on-Trent, saw officers seize class A drugs, £1,350 in cash and a component of a firearm.
An 18-year-old man, from Burton-on-Trent, was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs.
A 17-year-old boy, also from the Burton-on-Trent area, was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine and possession of a firearm without a certificate.
Both have been released under investigation while inquiries continue.
