A man has been charged with murder following the death of a man in Stoke-on-Trent.
Police were called to an address at Cromwell Court, Stoke-on-Trent, at around 6.30pm on Monday (8 August) following reports of a sudden death.
Officers attended as did colleagues from West Midlands Ambulance Service.
Florin Dumitru Ciurar, aged 37, (pictured) who was formally identified yesterday (Thursday 11 August), was pronounced dead by paramedics a short time later.
Specially-trained officers are supporting Florin’s family.
Nathan Miotk, aged 45, of no-fixed-address, has since been charged with murder.
He remains in police custody ahead of an appearance before magistrates due at North Staffordshire Justice Centre today (Friday 12 August).
The public are urged not to speculate on social media as you may prejudice future legal proceedings.
