A man has been charged over a business burglary which took place in Newcastle-under-Lyme last week.
Police were called to a premises, off Talke Road, at 5.25am on Friday (12 August) following reports of a burglar alarm going off.
Officers attended and a metal bolt from a gate was reported stolen.
Joseph Robinson, aged 43 of Arthur Street, Newcastle-under-Lyme, has since been charged with burglary other than dwelling with intent to steal.
He appeared before North Staffordshire Justice Centre on Saturday (13 August) and has been remanded in custody.
He is due to appear at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court on 12 September.
